Lawyers are obliged by the Federal Lawyers' Act (BRAO) to maintain professional liability insurance. The minimum sum insured is EUR 250,000.00 for lawyers. For partnerships, the minimum sum insured is EUR 2.5 million. Our professionals and the partnership are covered by professional liability insurance with Nürnberger Versicherungs-AG, 90334 Nuremberg (H 54/16 807 026).

1. Germany

The insurance covers liability claims arising from activities
(1) in connection with advising and dealing with European law; the law of Turkey and non-European territories of European states that are members of the European Union or the European Economic Area.
(2) of the lawyer before European courts as well as before courts of the territories mentioned in item 2.(1) and before Turkish courts in Turkish law.
3. Worldwide in the amount of the legally prescribed minimum sum insured for liability claims arising from claims against the policyholder before non-European courts.
